Took a ferry to nearby Stresa, the town that actually has something to do. Antique furnishings gave me a taste of the 1800s, and I got to watch TV on not one, but two flat screens!
Oh the horror, the WiFi was weak. How dare they inconvenience me with such a trivial thing!

The lake view from our room was absolutely stunning, with the snow-covered Swiss Alps in the background. We also loved the spaciousness of the rooms, which were large and comfortable. the owner was incredibly accommodating and understanding when we arrived late, making our stay even more enjoyable.
One minor issue we encountered was with the Wi-Fi signal. We had to stand by the window in one of the bedrooms to get a consistent connection.

The apartment at Casa Martelli was cozy and comfortable, with a spacious seating area and wooden floors that added a warm touch. I loved waking up to the stunning lake views from the apartment, it was absolutely breathtaking. Having a fully equipped kitchenette in the apartment allowed me to cook my own meals, giving a sense of home away from home. The private entrance gave me privacy and made me feel like I had my own little retreat. The microwave in the apartment was a convenient addition, making it easy to heat up leftovers or make a quick snack.
Personally, I found the lack of bed linen and towels provided to be a bit inconvenient. Others may not mind bringing their own, though.

Spacious and unique accommodation with gorgeous views from the balcony. Located in a lovely small town opposite the lake with a ferry point. The apartments have old-time charm and the view of the terraced garden is gorgeous. The owner is wonderful and helpful, even offering to make a reservation for our party of 8 at a nearby restaurant.
Felt spoilt, no complaint.

Our youngest, Emily, who is only 4 years old, absolutely loved the on-site playground. It was perfect for her age and she spent hours playing, making new friends, and having fun. The playground was well-maintained and provided a safe and enjoyable environment for children.
My kids wished there was a swimming pool on the property. With the hot weather, they were really looking forward to cooling off in the water.

The decoration at Casa Martelli was simply charming, with a delightful old-fashioned style that brought back fond memories. The general areas of the hotel were clean, fresh, and well-kept, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I greatly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with no bothersome stairs to climb.
One small improvement could be a stronger Wi-Fi signal, especially for senior guests who may want to stay connected with family and friends during their vacation.
